Who we are.

Black & castle is a highly-driven Bristol based real estate investment and development company with an ambition to be the go-to partner of choice for both UK and international real estate investors.

We think globally though we are local at heart –our primary focus is establishing presence and significant growth in our local community; that is, Bristol and environs. However, we recognise that the “right” opportunities may also present themselves from other regions of the UK –these will of course be considered on a case by case basis as we look to scale beyond the South West in the nearest future.

 

We are underpinned by the CEO’s deep passion for people, places and design as well as nearly 20 years of hands’ on experience in the commercial and residential real estate sector –this is what we bring into every real estate deal and project thereby ensuring a wholistic, sustainable and outcomes-driven approach.

 

What we do.

Find it.

We conscientiously and methodically source deals; i.e., properties and development opportunities at below market value (BMV) through our vast network of:

  • Local lettings and real estate agents, 

  • Property auction houses, and 

  • Other partner real estate and investment companies.

Fund it.

We look to strategically finance the sourced and packaged deals via a number of options depending on what might be considered most appropriate:

  • Private cash

  • JV partners

  • Equity partners

Farm it.

We promptly take steps to convert our funded deals into revenue (profit) making ventures by efficiently adding value. We then proceed with a suitable exit option:

  • Buy to Rent –to create residual passive income and cashflow

  • Buy to Flip –to generate equity and capital for reinvestment

  • New Build –to scale up and expand property portfolio

Teach it.

We are committed to empowering our local community and network. We have adopted the following approaches and mechanisms:

  • Property Consultancy –partnership with less experienced investors

  • Training Academy –mentorship for aspiring investors

  • Scholarships –funding for talented young investors and entrepreneurs

Repeat.

We aim to build a scalable and repeatable business model founded on tried and tested methods and processes. By repeat we mean:

  • Grow the business exponentially.

  • Explore wider markets outside our current region of operation.

  • Franchise our operation and help others succeed where we have.

We have built our business on a tried, tested and established real estate investment and development strategy that guarantees a return on investment for our clients, investors and partners alike.

 

Given the current low bank savings interest, investment in real estate property and development is a wise decision for generating passive and active income in:

We strongly believe that any development must not only meet the needs of the present, but also enable future generations to meet their own needs.

We are a community focussed organisation and we will seek to:

  • Look to employ local businesses and work with local suppliers and products.

  • Provide opportunities for training, apprenticeship and capacity building for local youths through mentorship and scholarship.

We are committed to our clients, partners and investor’s ambition for personal wealth creation as well as ensuring this can grow exponentially and be passed on from generation to generation.

The Great South West
